Dave Sissons, my old workmate and golfing buddy, retired from Nottingham City Council in March 2004. It seemed like all the best guys were retiring that year.

 

Dave, was very good at his job and his friends miss him.

 

Let’s hope that retirement doesn’t improve his golf too much by the time I arrange the next golfing round.

Gordon served as Chief Executive of Nottingham City Council from 2003 to 2006 and departed to pastures new in March 2006. His caricature depicts the proud Scotsman in the highlands wearing the Mitchell clan family kilt.
