Richard’s cartoons range from £80-100 for an A4 coloured drawing. Basically, you supply the photos of the person with the completed cartoon questionnaire and I work out the price. The drawing is usually finished in about three weeks. The exact price is worked out on the time it takes to complete the cartoon. This will be agreed with the client before the drawing is started.
The coloured pencil artwork? That’s a different matter. They are very time consuming so costs increase somewhat. The price is discussed when all photos have been received. Richard has to work out the time it takes for completion and the costs are assessed from that. On average, an original A4 portrait costs in the region of £175. The end result, though, is well worth waiting for!
