Linda Shelton – It’s a Minter….!
I was commissioned to draw Linda in November 2005 by her colleagues at Anchor Supplies in Ripley, Derbyshire.
The drawing was presented to Linda as a 30th birthday present and encompasses her working life in this army supplies depot. Her job as Deputy Clothing Manager sees her sending a bivvie of tents to Pakistan in aid appeals and shows her love of rugby – especially Martin Johnson.
The list of personal anecdotes and goings on are endless. I wonder if she has been promoted to Warehouse Manager yet (move over, Barb). |
