Christine retired from Nottingham City Council in December 2005 at the young age of 60. Her colleagues wanted to celebrate many things in the picture, especially her horse racing betting antics with her friends in the Rat Pack.
I have captured the image of Alvin Stardust in the horse as she went out with him many, many years ago. I have captured the Nags Head Pub in Ilkeston she once ran with her betting buddy, Tex.
