I had a great day and learned so much and feel confident to do some pictures of my own now. I would definitely do it again thanks again Richard,
Vicky Sherras
I would like to thank you for the most enjoyable learning day at your workshop. It was a totally new experience for me to use pencils, instead of watercolour and oils. The weather was wonderful and the lunch your wife put on in your delightful garden was delicious. I am still working on the donkey picture we started, but with holidays and other commitments, I still have quite a lot of work to do. The information pack you gave me to bring home has been most helpful. It was very nice to meet you and see some of your fabulous pictures.
It was one of the most wonderful workshops I have ever attended. I think we all had a great day.

Hi Rich. Sorry its taken so long to get back to you, that’s one of my faults ha ha. I’m really looking forward to the next workshop and loved the last one. I’ll bring a few CDs to play if it’s ok? if you could let me know what colours I need I’ll try to get them before the lesson.
Can’t wait to get pencil to paper and see what I can come up with! Glad you’re doing

Thanks, Richard. Kathy was absolutely delighted and hasn't stopped talking about it!!
Take care

Hi Richard.
Just wanted to say congratulations on winning Wild Life Artist of the Year. We had an email conversation a while ago as I also use coloured pencils. It was just after you exhibited at Patchings. I asked you about a replacement for Karisma and you suggested Prismacolor. Are you still using these or have you found some better ones?
At present I have done mainly flowers and although I get a lot of detail into them I am amazed at the amount of detail you get in your pictures. I would love to talk to you about it sometime if ever you have time.

Hello Richard, I know this is very late but thank you very much for my fantastic
card -
I'm sorry I have taken to so long to thank you but I now have a new computer up and
running at home -
I can't recommend retirement highly enough -
Kind regards
Congratulations on Out to Grass as well -
Do you think you
will make it to Otterburn? You could be a guest of honour!
Best to you,
I am thrilled to say I have been successful in my bid for your print. I am going to get it framed, hopefully to match the frame of the cat print which I got last year. I know you have signed the back of it but as it is on the cellophane wrapper, I wondered if you would be kind enough to sign the back of the framed picture when it is done please.
Many thanks
Georgina
on winning a charity print
Bloody hell Rich, is there anything you can’t touch that turns in to a work of art!
Rak
Hi Rich. Thank you so much for the drawing. I know Debby will love it! It's hard to believe that my daughter will be 40 years old on Monday. I have not long retired (voluntary redundancy actually) from the City Treasury myself and I am enjoying every minute of it!
Thank you once again and it was very nice to meet you. Kind regards
Kathy
Hi Richard, What a very nice surprise in my in-
I vaguely know your part of the world too. I visited Derbyshire once years ago. I really fell in love with that wild hilly country. I particularly remember Matlock. My mother came from Hucknall, Nottinghamshire – so I spent a few months there as a child during the time my mother was home to visit her family. But I’m actually a Kiwi, living in Australia. I like living in Perth too but don’t draw any artistic inspiration from it! (Pity because it would be cheaper if I did). Instead I like to go overseas and get all my inspiration from far shores.
I’m lucky that my day job is my drawing – but the pay is almost non-
Blimey – I couldn’t teach you anything – looking at your work. It is stunning.
Thanks so much for your lovely communication, Richard.
Very best wishes, Julie
