Nottingham's Castle Marina footbridge was in need of replacement as it needed to be wider to accommodate cyclists and the public and was unstable. Richard illustrated the new bridge referring to structural engineers drawings, standard details and plans. See the final photo of the built bridge which was well received

Client: Nottinghamshire County and Nottingham City Council
Richard was commissioned to complete the concept illustration for Nottingham's newest footbridge over the River Trent in Beeston. Even though well publicised locally, objection was received by a local pressure group and so the project was rejected
