A Planning Application was submitted by consultants for the Nottingham High School for plans to build two new hockey pitches on the sports ground. As local residents were affected by the proposals, a public consultation was convened with developers and local councillors.
Richard was commissioned to complete the artistic impressions of the area showing many views from the adjoining housing estate along Tring Vale and predominantly No.34 Tring Vale; residents that were in opposition.
To save money, it was agreed with the client that a 3D model would be built in the first instance using SketchUp and imported into Lumion for final rendering to produce 2D illustrations. Once the model was finished, drafts were issued for approval with the client and they chose specific views of where I should place the camera. See the illustrations produced to show the height of the perimeter hockey pitch fencing and also night time views to give an indication of flood light heights, LUX levels and lighting intensity.
